The Tasmanian Government's $3.1 billion 'Construction Blitz' announced in June 2020 emphasised the significance of the State's building and construction industry in leading the economic and social recovery from COVID-19.

The Tasmanian State Government has entered into partnership with industry to ‘Build the Workforce to Build Tasmania’. The partners are working to attract, train, and retain employees to meet Tasmania’s growing demand for building and construction sector.
